
Description: TrimBot2020 is a European Union Horizon 2020 research project aimed at developing the first fully autonomous outdoor gardening robot capable of trimming plants such as rose bushes, hedges, and boxwood topiary. It ran from 2016 to 2019 and involved leading universities, robotics labs, and Bosch as an industry partner. TrimBot2020 is a mobile, vision-guided gardening robot designed to navigate outdoor environments and automatically prune plants.
