¶ Forest Growers Research (FGR NZ) global review of exoskeletons

Description: The New Zealand Forest Growers Research organisation commissioned a piece of work to be undertaken by the Bioeconomy Science Institute (BSI: Scion) Human Factors team, to undertake a global review of exoskeletons and a Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) for manual pruning. This approach uses ergonomics to evaluate postural risks. The intent is to then align exoskeleton technology to the areas of the body most at risk and then bring something out to test. The scan and review will be completed by mid-2026 and will be made available to FWPA.
